Description :
A small single storey building, 5m to the north of the Morfa Copper Works/Yorkshire Imperial Metal Works laboratory building (PRN 02423w).

Contemporary to the laboratory and built in the 1880s in the corner of a former canal basin, it now adjoins the south wall of the 20th century weighbridge office. It measures 7m by 5m and is built of similar snecked Pennant Sandstone rubble material with similar but plainer detail.

The lodge together with the laboratory building flank the former main entrance to the works.

The building still exists, albeit in a ruinous state. It is not listed.
