This Privacy and Cookie Policy relates to the Archwilio website (www.archwilio.og.uk) (“the Website”) maintained by Heneb: the Trust for Welsh Archaeology.

Public data and publishing

Browsing the Archwilio website doesn’t reveal your identity publicly. Users of the Website are able to contribute by contacting the relevant regional office. Heneb: the Trust for Welsh Archaeology moderate submissions and reserve the right not to publish submissions in line with their own moderation policies.

Content submitted may, at the discretion of Heneb: the Trust for Welsh Archaeology, be incorporated into the Historic Environment Record (HER), and published on the Website. Heneb: the Trust for Welsh Archaeology may use information that you have submitted to credit content you provide with copyright and other IP rights. This will be in the form of first initial and surname only, no other identifiable information will be made publicly available.

User identification

Users of the Website are not currently identified unless they have submitted information through a cookie (see Use of Cookies below). Heneb: the Trust for Welsh Archaeology do not store or use this information in anyway. Heneb: the Trust for Welsh Archaeology do not currently implement any process on the Website, such as User logins, whereby users are identified through their IP address, however, some third party cookies used on the Archwilio website, may collect this information (see below).
