Trust : Glamorgan Gwent
Community : Bonymaen
Unitary authority : Swansea
NGR : SS6658495323
Site Type (preferred type first) : MODERN STRUCTURE

Summary :
Boiler House associated with the 1937 Munitions Factory.

Description :
On the 1945 plan of the munitions factory (10275w) a section labelled 'heat room' is shown between the casting shop (10279w) and general stores. It would have been separated from the general stores by a railway track that terminated at the building.

When excavated in 2008, no remains of the structure survived except for large stanchion bases which would have supported the roof.
