Moel y Gaer Bodfari hillfort, Iron Age phase

Description : Fort on a prominent hill. Multivallate with a counterscarp in places. 2 possible entrances, one inturned. 10 sections were cut across the rampart in 1908 revealing stone revetment.
No change to site. (CCC, 1982)
Possibly another entrance on th W side, and another inner rampart not previously recorded. (CCC, 1983)
