Summary : Two limekilns identified from 1st Edition 6" OS. Two substantial stone built limekilns at the edge of the public road, approximately 4m high and 6m in diameter. Now very overgrown, the south kiln is partly collapsed and the north kiln is in good condition. Each kiln has two opposing tap holes and they are both D-shaped in plan. BA & KM 1997
They are Grade II LIisted.
