Geology Black limestone underlying Cefn-y-fedw Sandstone with chert beds.
Workings The evidence of small-scale workings can be located on the hillside to the east of the dingle and south of Terfyn Hall, in the vicinity of the Volcnant Telegraph Station. Shafts can be located at SJ08508290 and in the woodland of Coed Bell.
