Geology Carboniferous Limestone.
Workings The Gyrn-fawr cross-course runs north to south almost aligning with the Picton and Coetia Ball cross-courses. Shafts on the sett remain in the fields of improved pasture to the east of Pen-y-Ball, where they have been substantially landscaped.
Transport No evidence.
Power Any evidence of likely whim shafts has been lost in the improvement of the pasture.
