Geology Carboniferous Limestone.
Workings Brunton Symons' Map of 1865 depicts the Caepant Sett as covering the two shafts that are visible at SJ25495245 and SJ25505242, to the south of Ty Newydd. The sett was worked between the Main Vein and Red Vein.
