Hillside grange in Magna Porta manor. Grange name is likely a reference to a promontory jutting out from slopes of Mynydd Henllys above the farmstead, or perhaps the prominent Castell-y-bwch ridge overlooked to the south-east. Actual site of grange farm and boundary of lands not known, possibly site of Dorallt-fawr farm (Procter 2018). Associated with Llantarnam Abbey.
