Summary :
The site of Hafod Copper Works buildings shown on all OS map editions. The area lies to the west of the revetment wall PRN 08289w and east of a 3m high Pennant Sandstone retaining wall and includes a buttress thought to be part of the original and earlier revetment to the canal basin PRN 08293w. The area is labelled as 'Offices' on the 1928 works plan and had been demolished by the 1943 plan.

Description :
The site of Hafod Copper Works buildings shown on all OS map editions.

The area lies between the revetment wall to the east (PRN 08289w) and a 3m high Pennant Sandstone retaining wall to the west. It includes a massive raking buttress, thought to be part of the original and earlier revetment to the canal basin (PRN 08293w). The wall includes industrial features; a brick lined doorway with a small brick lobby and pipework between the lobby and the buttress.

The area is labelled as 'Offices' on the 1928 works plan and had been demolished by the 1943 plan.
