Description :
The site of a block of Hafod Copper Works buildings, thought to be the office and stores, to the south of building PRN 08262w. The block is shown on OS and site maps from 1879 but probably predates that and may be from beginning.

The visible remains comprise a semi-circular wall of thinish Pennant rubble, now truncated to 1m tall, to the north and east. To the east the wall forms a 3m high revetment pierced by what are thought to be brick lined flues, now decaying. To the north the wall acts as a stop for an entry to the block, then continues around the west side, demolished to ground level and hidden by dense undergrowth. The interior space is level with an area of brick surfacing visible to the south. The south wall has now gone, but formally revetted the block against a 2m drop.

The block is shown as divided into a number of spaces on the c. 1928 site map and is labeled as 'Stores and Office'.
