Description :
The site of two, linked, Hafod Copper Works buildings, thought to have been established between 1899 and 1919 to supply electrical power to the site. The boiler house and power house were large, parallel, rectangular north - south buildings each measuring 20m by 10m, and were served by a chimney stack to the south. They were enlarged in the 1930s.

The visible remains comprise two discrete areas of tile and concrete surfacing to the immediate east of the site of the Hafod Copper Works Canal Basin (PRN 08245w). During and evaluation in 2021, the remains of a tiled floor, thought to belong to the boiler room, was uncovered (E008399, Eyre-Morgan & Morgan, 2021).

The buildings partially over-layed the western end of the Hafod Copper Works building (PRN 08246w).
