Summary :
The site of a Hafod Copper Works building, the visible remains of which abut the south end of the revetment wall PRN 08259w. The building is thought to be that labelled 'Cold rolls and warehouse' on the c. 1928 works plan and 'Electrician and joiner' on that of 1943.

Description :
The site of a Hafod Copper Works building shown on the OS Ed 3 map and site plans. The visible remains abut the south end of the revetment wall PRN 08259w. They comprise a 22m length of concrete block retaining wall at a slightly different angle, rising 2m above the debris. The south end is damaged but appears to return to the west with a short section of east - west footings in patent copper brick at 18m to the west. In between lies a concrete floor, much obscured by further debris.

Large rectangular north - south building, measuring c 22m by 18m, see on historic maps between 1879 and 1943. It is labelled 'Cold rolls and warehouse' on the c. 1928 works plan and 'Electrician and joiner' on that of 1943. The concrete block work is a 20th century rebuild.
