Summary :
A yellow brick floor surface at the site of the former Morfa Copper Works. The surface lies between the canalside boundary wall to the west and the rolling mill cutting and rolling mill to the east and partially overlays a canal basin filled in between 1879 and 1899.

Description :
A yellow brick floor surface at the site of the former Morfa Copper Works (PRN 00841w), extant when surveyed in 2002. The surface lies between the canalside boundary wall to the west (PRN 08221w) and the rolling mill cutting and rolling mill to the east (PRN 08091w).

The land lies at a higher level than the mill and represents the coaling area for it. It is laid on made ground, partially overlaying a canal basin (PRN 01046.35w) which was filled in between 1879 and 1899.
