Description :
Bryn-du Works Old Furnaces
Buildings marked on the second edition 1900 Ordnance Survey map. Similar collection of buildings marked at the same location on first edition 1884 Ordnance Survey map; these buildings are not labelled.

Site of the furnaces identified by at least two substantial piles of masonry made up of large fragments of dressed stone. Fragments measure on average 0.75m length, 0.2m width.

Site is heavily overgrown; evidence suggests an area of coppiced woodland to the south of the furnaces.
