Summary :
Late C16th origins, built in 2 phases and with some later alterations; the uphill end is probably the earlier part. Also incorporates some medieval work said to have been reused from Llanthony Abbey. Substantial stone-built farmhouse with rubble chimney.

Late C16th origins, built in 2 phases and with some later alterations; the uphill end is probably the earlier part. Also incorporates some medieval work said to have been reused from Llanthony Abbey.

Substantial stone-built farmhouse with rubble chimney stacks and stone slate roofs. The front faces NE and has an added gabled porch with C13th pointed-arch entrance. Some windows retain Tudor hood-moulds.
The plan-form of this type B longhouse is exceptionally unaltered. C16th/C17th tie and collar roof trusses.

Possible medieval nant farmstead. Grade II listed farmhouse with 16th century origins, including porch archway and other medieval fabric thought to have been reused from Llanthony Priory (Procter 2018). Part of Cwmyoy Manor.
