Description : During the 1970s OS fieldworkers described a small earthen mound under grass with a suggestion of a kerb. The mound is circular in form and has an irregularly defined perimeter; there are now no obvious kerbstones evident, but there is one small stone to the N of the mound's perimeter. The mound has a depression in its centre which is horseshoe in shape, with the open end facing S (diameter 2m NNW-SSE), most probably the result of robbing.
Dimensions: diameter 6m; height 0.75m
(1976) A small round cairn measuring 6.5m in diameter and 0 .7m high. Surveyed on 1:10000, found during field investigation. (Source 02)
(1979) Loxbridge Tump. A grassed cairn, 5m in diameter, with suggestions of a kerb and a depression in the centre. (Source 03)
