Summary :
2 storey farmhouse, starting life as a late medieval timber cruck-framed house, rebuilt perhaps late 16th century. Extended to E at end of 17th century refaced c.1700. Interior said to retain fragment of cruck blade, C17th stairs and wooden partitions

Description :
Bears date 1694, but has origins as late medieval timber cruck-framed house rebuilt perhaps late C16th, and extended to E at end of C17th. Refaced C18th.
2 storey farmhouse, stone with slate roof, brick chimney. Front facing farmyard has 3 windows, doorway has slated canopy, fine doorframe with double ogee moulding.

Interior said to retain fragment of cruck blade, C17th stairs and wooden partitions. Possible medieval nant farmstead. Farmstead name perhaps indicative of a sheep station functionality (Procter 2018). Part of Cwmyoy Manor and associated with Llanthony Priory.
