Summary :
A large 2-storeyed farmhouse with modern roof and stone walls. The house is partly surrounded by the grasss covered remains of a spread bank which has been destroyed in the S and NW.

Description :
The house is partly surrounded by the remains of a spread bank which averages 7.0m wide and is grass covered. It has been destroyed in the S and NW.
A large 2-storeyed farmhouse with a modern roof and stone walls which are .9m thick.

In the E pine wall is a massive chimney breast and a C17th type window. The majority of the windows are modern though above many are thick old wooden lintels. In the interior are several thick wooden ceiling beams most of which have been plastered or boarded over.

Late 17th century Grade II listed manor house and barn, probably on site of medieval manor court. Medieval motte and bailey fortification adjacent (Procter 2018).
