Description :
A gently sloping circular mound with a 6m x 4m concrete platform and water trough defining the top. The concrete platform is now raised 0.3m from the top of the mound, which gives some indication of the level of erosion since the last visit in 1987. The mound has an indistinct perimeter and no ditch is apparent; perhaps a spring or mid summer visit would highlight the mound's boundary and possible ditch.
Dimensions: diameter 45m E-W height; 1.2m
(1957) One of two barrows (with 1032G). A spread grass covered round barrow 45m in diameter and 1.3m high. There is no trace of a surrounding ditch. On the top there is a concrete platform, which measures 6m by 4m, surmounted by a cattle trough. (Source 02)

(1987) The barrow is situated on flat ground in the middle of a pasture field, grazed by sheep and cows. It is a low gently sloping circular mound, c.1.3m high and c.40m in diameter. There is a small pollarded willow ontop and next to it a concrete platform and water trough. The ground has been worn bare around the platform. (Source10)
