Summary :
In the late 12th century the chapel of St Margaret (Ffynnon Verad/Ffynnon Farget) was built close to St Margaret's well.

Description :
In the late 12th century the chapel of St Margaret (Ffynnon Verad/Ffynnon Farget) was built close to St Margaret's well (Jones 1954, 49, 183); one of Jones's Class A wells (wells bearing the names of saints. Trinity, God, Holy Innocents, Easter). In a dingle to the E of St Margaret's chapel (PRN 00642w); no structural remains and water has been piped (Williams 2001, 149-50 fig 61).
