Summary :
One of a pair of round barrows (PRN 04564m) on low ground in the Border Vale. Access could not be negotiated and the monument was observed from the road; measurements from Glamorgan Inventory. It consists of a low spread mound, with the remains of a concrete building on its NE side.

One of a pair of round barrows (PRN 04564m) on low ground in the Border Vale. Access could not be negotiated and the monument was observed from the road; measurements from Glamorgan Inventory. It consists of a low spread mound, with the remains of a concrete building on its NE side.

Dimensions: 24.4m diameter; 0.9m high.

(1956) A ditchless grass-covered round barrow with a diameter of 27.0m and 1.3m high. Two ruined industrial buildings are at the foot of the mound in the E which has not otherwise been visibly disturbed. Unusually sited on the floor of a shallow valley. (Source 02)

(1963/1976) A circular grass-grown mound, about 24.4m in diameter and 0.9m high, rather ploughed down. Two ruined modern structures stand at the base of the mound on the N. (Source 01)
