Summary : Much weathered cross-socket stone with chamfered upper edge. Socket hole has been much enlarged & now extends to the edge of the stone as an elongated basin (OS card SS 87 NE 105).

Redknap and Lewis (2007, 497-8) note this as proabably being pre-Conquest.
