Description :
Traditional site of the grave of Dorti, a witch. ?Natural hillock, few white stones exposed. No sign of cist. Probably a marker cairn. <1>

Old HER refers to a site visit by A. Pearson in 1994. No further details. <3>

Within the valley below Llyn Tecwyn Uchaf are several long ridges-roches moutonnes. The mound at the grid ref recorded is the highest of these. It has been partly cut into during recent Dwr Cymru work revealing it to be a natural rock ridge. A small pile of quartz stones on top presumably those previously noted, have been placed there quite recently. (Smith 2001)
