Description :
Bangor station was one of the 3 principal block or tablet stations on the Wrexham & Ellesmere railway with 2 long wide platforms with passing loop and typical A. H. Aslett designed buildings (Pratt, D, 1999, 119).

Opened 2/11/1895 and closed 10/9/1962 (Pratt, Derrick, 2009, pp117).
