Description :
Pickhill Halt - a stop on the Wrexham & Ellesmere railway. It consisted of a basic wooden plank platform, a tiny creosoted shelter with miniscule canopy and a name board lit (when vandals hadn't smashed or stolen it) by a single oil lamp. It was opened on the 30th May 1938 and built to serve the nearby 'Chocolate Works' (Pratt, D, 1999, 114).

No access possible (Dairy Crest Factory premises in the way).
