Description :
St Peter's Cave was found to contain archaeological deposits that date from as early as the Palaeolithic period. It may have once been used for occupation, storage, burial, refuse, or as a temporary shelter. The cave's south west facing entrance is 3m high and 4.5m wide and its passage extends to approximately 21m and varies in height between 1.5m and 3m. The evidence of charcoal deposits suggests prehistoric activity (Cadw MM160).

The interior of the cave is very wet with and an abundance of ferns growing inside.
