Description :
A weathered, approximately rectangular block of stone, lying flat within a pasture field. The block is 2.6m long NE-SW, 1.7m wide and 0.6m thick. On its upper surface there are in excess of 40 cup-marks, varying from 40-115mm in diameter, and from 5-60mm deep, depending on the extent of weathering of the surface. RCAHMW reported two more stones visible under the W corner of the main stone, and suggested that the cup-marks were made on the capstone of a cromlech, now collapsed. Dimensions: length 2.6m; width 1.7m; thick 0.6m.

(1960/1976) On ground falling gently to the SW. An approximately rectangular block of stone, much weathered at the corners, lying flat on the ground surface, is 2.6m long NE-SW by 1.7m wide and about 0.6m thick. The upper surface is covered with a haphazard series of 33 cup-marks varying from 40 to 115mm in diameter, and from 5 to 60mm deep, depending on the degree of weathering at the surface. There are also 17 more cup-marks which are too weathered for precise measurement, but whose presence is certain. Others may have been completely worn away. Two more slabs of stone are just visible under the W corner of the main stone, suggesting the possibility that the cup-marks were made on the capstone of a cromlech, now collapsed. (Source 01).

(1985) A roughly rectangular flat-topped stone, standing in a field 2x1.5x0.5m. On its upper surface are approx. 40 cup-marks, some larger and deeper than others. Two are joined by narrow grooves (Source 06). GGAT 72 Prehistoric Funerary and Ritual Sites Project 2003.
