Summary :
Roughly circular grass-covered mound, enveloped in vegetation; no stones visible apart from four pieces of sandstone (c0.5m across) loose on summit. Located on the summit of a small hill, previously planted with trees which have been cut down. GGAT 72

Description :
Roughly circular grass-covered mound, enveloped in vegetation; no stones visible apart from four pieces of sandstone (c0.5m across) loose on summit. Located on the summit of a small hill, previously planted with trees which have been cut down. Hole dug into E side. c5.7m diameter; c0.6m high GGAT 72 Prehistoric Funerary and Ritual Sites survey 2001.

(1956) A ditchless grass covered round barrow on the top of a small hillock situated on high ground. It has a diameter of 9.0m and a height of 1.1m . There is no visible antiquity 42.0m south of the barrow. ( source 05 )
On broad moorland summits N of Glyncorrwg.
(1958 /1976) On broad moorland summits N of Glyncorrwg. On Bryn Llydan at about 460m above OD. It is 8.2m in diameter and 1.1m high, of small stones , grass covered. A few medium sized flat slabs lie loose near the edge. (Source 02)
(1961) Its condition is as described in 1956 ( source 03 )
(1982) A turf covered cairn of earth and stone which measures 10.0m in diameter from east to west, and 9.0m from north to south. A hole 2.0m by 1.5m and 0.8m deep has been recently dug into the east side and there is superficial damage caused by forestry ploughing on the north side. ( Source 04 )
(1999) Round barrow located on top of small hill adjacent to FE track. Approximately 9m in diameter and 1.5m high, possible evidence of ditch. If genuine this barrow does not appear to have been disturbed (no excavation evidence). (Source 01)
