Summary :
Just outside the S wall of Llangiby churchyard. The well is 1.2m square & 0.6m deep. It is enclosed by a cement patched stone & mortar wellhouse with corbelled roof.

Just outside the S wall of Llangiby churchyard. The well is 1.2m sq & 0.6m deep. It is enclosed by a cement patched stone & mortar wellhouse with corbelled roof. The wellhouse is 1.4m high with a modern door. [Source of this description and the name St Cybil not identified unless it is Evans 1954, which has not yet been seen - Jones calls it Ffynnon Gybi (Jones 1954, 194); one of Jones's Class A wells (wells bearing the names of saints. Trinity, God, Holy Innocents, Easter). Evans 2003: GGAT 73 Early-Medieval Ecclesiastical Sites Project database.
