Summary :
Square broached base, much weathered. It has a small portion of an octagonal shaft & stands on 4 good steps the lowest bevilled & hollowed to serve as a seat.

Description :
Square broached base, much weathered. It has a small portion of an octagonal shaft & stands on 4 good steps the lowest bevilled & hollowed to serve as a seat.

4 steps, restored, in sandstone ashlar; lowest step has chamfered underside. Socket stone, in ?granite, square with broad chamfer at corners and pyramid stops; base of shaft, in Bath stone, so badly weathered it is not possible to see any carving.
