Description : A double circle of stones lay 300 or 400yds from the Aber waterfall (Rhaeadr Fawr: SH 66827004) on comparitively low ground thickly overgrown with brambles and tall weeds. The inner circle, 18ft in diameter, apparently constructed of drystone walling, two courses of which remained in 1864, had a stone 6ft in height standing within it, but not at its centre. The circles were not concentric, the distance between the walls being 33ft on the N side but only a few feet on the S. <1>
