Description : A tumulus 120 yards NE of Penyfynwent 100 yards in circumference and about 3ft high. In poor condition, much spread by ploughing. (RCAHMW, 1937)
A turf covered mound, 0.8m high and 22m in diameter apparently a round burrow. Surveyed at 1/2500 at SH4342 8893. <2>
Pen-y-Fynwent barrow, scheduled. <3>
An earthen mound about one metre high and 95m in circumference situated close to PRN2102. The mound has been much spread by ploughing and tends to merge into the hill on the ESE side. <4>
No change. <5>
Tumulus 1 as described. Tumulus 2 (not scheduled) just visible as a slight rise. Its authenticity could only be proven by excavation. <6>
A very low well-spread mound, thoroughly ploughed over. No stones visible in the turf. The presumed barrow lies on one end of the low summit of which Penyfynwent occupies the actual summit though still with very extensive views. (Smith, 2003)
