Description : Substantial earthwork (18.5 x 15.5 m) remains of a group of round and rectangular buildings associated with a system of terraced fields. Discovered by G. Marsh (1977). The remains of this settlement, contained within an area measuring 60m x 60m, have been fully described by Going, C. and Marsh, G. <1>
It consists of two or three sub-rectangular huts and at least one round hut within a complex of terraced enclosures, the latter utilizing natural scarps and outcrops. A modern field wall, presently forms the south and west limits of the site. The site lies close to the bank of the Afon Gwna within an area which formerly contained a large number of similar hut groups. <2> <3> <4>
